Such a cute pattern!

These mice are adorable. I watched all the videos first, which I do recommend. I accidentally sewed my first mouse with his body upside down, but he still looks very cute. I also ended up pulling out my first set of wires and replacing them with longer wires that I’d folded over at the end. This is because I used felt for the hands and feet and the cut edge of the wire punched through. Rather than terry cloth I repurposed material from a pair of children’s cotton-poly blend sweatpants for the body fabric. It worked perfectly.

I definitely see myself making several more of these mice and creating little miniature scenes for them. My child has already made several suggestions! Please release some patterns for sewing clothes. I do not knit, but I have lots of scrap fabric and would love to make some aprons and dresses and vests for my mice.

My family has loved this book for many years. Now that my child is too old for us to read it together, I’m excited to have a new way for us to enjoy Sam and Julia’s world together.

I sew a wonderful & sweet !!! little mouse & crochet beautiful Sam & Julia

Few month ago I visited the flowers market in Amsterdam, and without planning, we crossed the street and saw the amazing shop. I didn't hear before about Jam & Julia. I fall in love with them !!! I bought the crochet book which is written in Dutch and used Google translate to crochet the sweet, wonderful small mice and their closes. A month ago I bought the sewing pdf, the video tutorials were very helpful and clear. The result is amazing !!! sweet little mouse. In few month I'll become a grandmother, and I intend to sew & crochet more mice for the baby.

Muisje maken
