Absolutely delightful. You have to see it to believe it. Unbelievable details in the mouse mansion, lovingly built and a great choice of merchandise at fair prices. We loved it.

I have been inspired by Karina Schaapman for years. Someone with passion and drive. The Mouse Mansion has grown into a beautiful family business. And a wonderful shop. The webshop, where I regularly order, is also fantastic. Now I'm also making my own mouse house for my granddaughter. Thank you for the inspiration.

Very nice shop. On two floors there's all sorts to see: beautifully built rooms and houses and the explanation of how you can do that yourself at home. From the lady behind the counter we actually received a treasure hunt right upon entering, for which we got a nice diorama/viewing box set when we handed it in. All in all: a nice experience with small children!

Very nice shop to go to with young children when you're in Amsterdam. Especially if you've ever read aloud from the Mouse Mansion books. It starts even before you go inside with the little front doors that are on the side of the shop window. Inside too, they can't believe their eyes. Then up the stairs to the top floor. And... of course they really want to be allowed to take something home with them.

Super fun to see it in real life for once. I've been following Karina for several years via X. I have a fairy door myself and I was pleasantly surprised that there were also all sorts of mini items for sale like little pots and cutlery. My gnome will be very happy with that 🍄

Ended up here by chance and not a shred of regret. What craftsmanship! A lovely young lady who receives customers warmly. For the children there's a children's bingo and they get a postcard when they succeed. There's really a story behind everything. The combination of the warm welcome and high-quality craftsmanship deserves a big ten! All the books are illustrated based on the shop's interior.

Definitely worth a visit. Everything is made with love. Real craftsmanship. The little houses with mice look so good, down to the details. And it's free. Average visit time 20 minutes.
