The door is lovingly designed by Karina Schaapman, the creator of the original Mouse Mansion.

Here's how it works: stick the door to the wall or skirting board with the tape, then add the ladder and letterbox to complete the look. Suddenly it feels like Sam and Julia really live there.

The door, letterbox, and ladder are made from smooth, FSC-certified wood. You can place them as they are or paint them to match your room – it’s an easy and satisfying DIY activity for kids and grown-ups alike. The sticker sheet and miniature mail help bring the story to life: maybe a letter has just arrived, or someone’s about to leave?

Simple to set up, full of little details – and fun to revisit again and again.

I received a door with a natural blemish in the wood in an unfortunate location so I reached out to the company. I was offered a new door or a discount. I opted for a new door, which they immediately shipped to me! I'm very happy with the doors and window and can't wait to start painting them. They come with a lot of fun stickers to use in decorating. So whimsical which fits my vibe.

Kinderen vinden het geweldig!

Ik heb het deurtje besteld i.v.m. een herfst thematafel bij mij op de peutergroep. We lezen elke dag een stukje voor uit het boek van Sam en Julia en de kinderen gaan regelmatig even bij de thematafel achter het deurtje gluren of Sam er nog is.
