Kitchen Furniture Kit — Assembly Tutorial

Build your Mouse Mansion kitchen furniture kit step by step. Counters, a stove, a table with chairs and shelving — a complete miniature kitchen from one box.

The kitchen is where the action happens in any miniature house, and this kit gives you everything to create one from scratch. All the laser-cut wooden pieces are included — counter units, a stove, a table with chairs and shelving to line the walls. It is one of our most popular kits, and once you see the finished kitchen, you will understand why.

Handy: our kitchen furniture kit includes all pieces for a complete miniature kitchen.

Step by Step

Step 1: Assemble the Counter Units

Start with the kitchen counters — they form the backbone of the room. Pop out the pieces and glue the side panels to the base and top of each unit. Make sure the countertops are level and the cabinets underneath are square. These are the pieces that everything else will be arranged around, so take your time getting them right.

Step 2: Build the Stove

The stove is a charming little piece. Assemble the main box shape first, then add the stovetop panel on top. If your kit includes knobs or a small oven door, attach those once the main structure is dry. The stove usually sits neatly alongside the counter units, creating a proper kitchen run.

Step 3: Construct the Table and Chairs

The table goes together much like the counters — a flat top on four legs, glued firmly into place. The chairs are a little more detailed, with a seat, legs and a backrest. Glue each chair carefully and let them dry standing upright so the legs set evenly. A table and chairs in the center of the kitchen bring the whole room to life.

Step 4: Install the Shelving

Wall shelves are simple but they add so much character. Glue the shelf brackets to the shelf board and position them against the wall of your room. Open shelving filled with tiny jars and plates is one of the most satisfying details you can add to a miniature kitchen.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

Once all the glue has set, go over each piece and sand any rough spots. Arrange everything in your room — counters along the wall, stove beside them, table in the center, shelves up high. Step back and see how it all fits together. This is the moment the kitchen starts to feel real.

Make It Your Own

A kitchen begs to be filled with life. Paint the cabinets in a cheerful color — warm yellow, dusty blue or classic white all work beautifully. Add tiny plates on the shelves, a miniature pot on the stove, and a checkered cloth on the table. If you enjoy working with polymer clay, make some tiny food — a loaf of bread, a bowl of fruit, a wedge of cheese. The more you add, the more it feels like a kitchen where someone is about to cook dinner.
